Vacation To Arizona

My mom, the kids and I vacationed to Mesa/Phoenix, Arizona June 14-21 to visit my sister and her husband. We stayed with them at Sunshine Acres and got a feel for what they do on a daily basis and how they take care of the kids there. It was a great experience, especially for Anthony and Isabella, to get to know these kids and spend time with them. Bethany and Ed were working in a boy's home with nine 10-14 year olds the week we were there. Anthony just fit right in with them and wanted to hang out with them every day, and Isabella became one of them as well. She wanted to be right there in the middle of everything and play too. It was right around 100 degrees every day there and we swam a lot! By the second to the last day we were there, Isabella didn't want any floaters and she wanted me to dunk her under the water over and over again and jump to me in the pool. She loved it! :)
We didn't see any rattle snakes or scorpions, but we saw lizards and baby prairie dogs. Sunshine acres has goats and horses, many playgrounds and a swimming pool, so we had lots of stuff to keep us busy. We only ventured out a few times to go to the store and the Tempe Mall/Rainforest Cafe, and on Thursday night, a local dentist paid for everyone at Sunshine Acres to go see the movie "Up", so we got to go with all of them. We had a great trip! Thank you for everything Bethany and Ed!
