We spent the 4th of July at Zuanich Point Park this year with my mom, sister Neille and nephew, Eli. We got there at about 4:00 to enjoy the festivities that were going on all day prior to the firework show, but it wasn't as fun as we thought it would be. So, Neille, Eli and Anthony ended up going back home to ride bikes and hang out while my mom, Albert, Isabella and I stayed at the park to play and have dinner. Neille and the boys met back up with us around 9:00 and then we watched the firework display. It was a great spot to watch them but not really worth the hour and a half it took to get home afterward. I think next year we'll stick with fun and fireworks at home or going camping at the Skagit River. All in all though, we had a great 4th! The weather was awesome and it was great to spend time with the family!!
