Boot Camp

So, this is a little late, but I completed my 3rd 12-week session of boot camp on October 3rd! At the end of every session, we have a graduation dinner. This time it was at Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant. It was a pretty expensive dinner, but it was fun and really good food!

Me, Isabella and Albert at the dinner
So, just to update all who are interested on my progress:
I have lost 36 lbs. and about 20 inches (combined off my chest, waist, iliac crest, hips, thighs and arms) since I started boot camp in January. I am way stronger than I have ever been, my back and neck problems from my car accident in 2001 have pretty much completely disappeared, and I am eating WAY healthier than I ever have before. I am also in way better shape cardio-wise, than I ever have been. When I first started, I thought I was going to die when we had to run or do stairs over and over again!! Now, I can run so much further and do so many more sets of stairs without feeling like I'm going to keel over! :) I went from doing zero push-ups, 18 knee push-ups and 151 steps on my very first day of boot camp, to doing 23 push-ups (in one minute), 84 knee push-ups (in 2 minutes), and 235 steps (in 5 minutes) just today for our mid-way fit test (for the 4th session). Now that I've been doing this so long and am seeing the results, I'm going to have a really hard time stopping. So far, I have not missed a single class. I'm totally into it and I love going, and I am proud of myself for how far I've come! Anyway, this is embarrassing talking about myself so much, so I'll stop now! :)
